Portable power products present capacity, continuous output, surge output, charging input, and cycle claims all at once. We explain what those figures mean for a fridge, heated blanket, laptop, campsite, or outage plan.
The goal is to find enough power for the job—not automatically recommend the largest or most expensive unit.

What we verify
Manufacturer product pages and manuals are the primary specification sources. We normalize capacity to Wh, continuous output to W, and weight to kilograms and pounds.

Every use case weights features differently. Portability emphasizes weight; multi-night camping emphasizes energy and solar input; home backup emphasizes output, surge, and expansion.
